How the dataset is built

Allow-listed identities

The classifier counts Googlebot, Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot, GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot and Applebot-Extended user-agent labels.

Aggregate requests

Only GET and HEAD requests are counted. The public file contains totals, crawler labels and public sitemap paths—not raw log lines.

Daily refresh

A server timer rebuilds the current-month snapshot after 02:25 UTC. The JSON distribution is available for independent inspection.

What these numbers do not prove

A crawler label in a user agent is not independently authenticated here. A successful request proves neither indexing nor appearance in search or generated answers. Counts are requests, not unique crawler sessions. Log rotation and infrastructure changes can affect totals.

No IP address, full user agent, referrer, query string, cookie, form value or customer record is published.
